Neurodivergence is an umbrella term describing brain differences that diverge from what is considered neurotypical. It includes conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and OCD. Neurodivergent conditions also commonly co-occur, as many share overlapping symptoms and diagnostic criteria.

Our Mission Statement Project Vermilion was built in service of neurodivergent minds. There is immense brilliance within neurodivergent communities, yet social barriers can prevent that creativity from being communication. Their creativity is lost in translation. Furthermore, traditional approaches may not acknowledge neurodivergence and mental wellbeing, making it harder for kids to access necessary support and therapy.
Changing deeply rooted perceptions can be difficult, but by bringing together authentic neurodivergent stories and explaining the biology behind some of these conditions, supported by strong statistics, we aim to challenge this stigma head-on.
