Neuroinclusion

Started by International Science and Engineering Fair Finalists, Project Vermilion is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built for the purpose of spreading neuroinclusion nationwide.

Neuroinclusion means accepting all kinds of brains, accepting people with autism, ADHD, OCD, and more. The project includes four domains: Challenge Vermilion, Competition Vermilion, Campaign Vermilion, and Classroom Vermilion! These domains channel initiatives, research, outreach, and education to help our cause.

Our Mission

Neurodiversity is not just a clinical label. It is the spectrum of human thought, creativity, and perception. It represents minds that see patterns others miss, feel emotions more deeply, and process the world through a unique lens. To honor neurodiversity is to recognize that these differences are not deficits, but powerful variations of human potential.

What neurodivergent individuals need is not correction, but compassion. Neuroinclusion begins when we stop asking people to fit into narrow molds and start building a world that welcomes every kind of brain.

We hope that, by teaching the world how to be compassionate and explaining the neurology behind these conditions, we can help build a neuroinclusive community.

Our Impact

Project Vermilion has reached 200 people on social media, presented neuroinclusive content to over 720 children, raised $325 for the neurodivergent community, conducted 6 research projects (with 3 publications), and collected 374 sensory toys from highschoolers for donation.
